AUTUMN/WINTER 2023

Introducing the Autumn/Winter 2023 collection – an exploration of the sense of freedom and lightness that has been rooted in Filippa K’s DNA since 1993. Former Creative Director Liisa Kessler continued to reinterpret and revive the codes of the house, with a focus on returning to the attitude that defined its 90s and early aughts campaigns.

Shop Autumn/Winter 2023 | Woman Man

“When the world feels heavy and complicated, I guess we want to be able to take off to a lighter state of mind. We long for a feeling of being able to breathe and feel carefree again. And taking off, literally flying and escaping, feels so beautiful and fascinating to me.”

– Liisa Kessler, Filippa K Creative Director

Monochrome silhouettes in 70s-inspired fabrics are filtered through a minimalist 90s lens, and a glacial palette with pops of colour references vintage skiwear. The pieces take inspiration from Werner Herzog’s 1974 documentary The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner, a profile on Swiss ski jumper Walter Steiner. Amid the rigours of daily life and the unfolding anxieties of recent years, Creative Director Liisa Kessler zeroed in on Steiner’s own small moments of liberation.
